Self-Portrait, Getting Dressed in my Room (2017). Digital Photograph. Getting Dressed in my Room is a self-portrait from my series, "Unlocking Hope." This self-portrait was made shortly after I received my gender-affirming surgery, commonly referred to as "Top-Surgery." The quiet and introspective act of dressing oneself, especially as a trans* person, was what drew me to capture myself in this moment. After my surgery specifically, I recognized the act of doing so became less of a daily burden, as I was able to feel more at home in my body. ©Jesse Ryan Crosby (Pronouns: They/Them)

Untitled Self-Portrait. I shoot digital on a Nikon z7ii. In the last few years, I've grown to love a more fine art photograph where you can morph the light to fit what you want out of a photo! I was inspired to do self portraits and I wanted to go for a vintage take on the popular flower top sessions! ©Jade Hengel

It is a self-portrait with natural light, taken in a garden full of jasmine. Taken with Nikon Z6ll Lensbaby Velvet 56mm 1.6 FTZ II Adapter. For the dreamy feel I used a Lensbaby Velvet, one of my favorite fine art portrait lenses. I haven't thought of a name for this image, but it is about the need to get away from all the craziness on social media and create art for myself. ©Marina Lattanzi
